Lynne gave the birth of daughter Lauren in the year 1981 (now the wife of the former Australian Wallaby Lock Mark Chisholm). In 1985, Lynne gave Lauren an older sister, Natalie whom she closely watched by their infant son and current professional football player Alexander from 1987.

William Campbell was born at the Mater hospital in Brisbane on the 28th of November, 1961, to his Parents Noela and William Sr. Campbell. He was the 5th child of eight children. He was a student at Villa Nova College in his elementary school days and later relocated towards Gregory Terrace, where he moved up through the age group of and played rugby. In the years following Terrace, Campbell studied medicine at Queensland University aiming at a career as a Vascular Surgeon. he was awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in general surgery and the field of vascular surgery.
William Alexander Campbell (born 28 November 1961) is an ex-international union rugby player who played in 26 tests and was vice-captained the team for 15 matches with the Australian Wallabies in the role of lock between 1984 and 1990. He played 58 games and was captain for 26 occasions (21 winnings, and five loss) with the Queensland Reds. Peter Jenkins named Campbell as one of the best 100 Wallabies in his book with the same title. Campbell quit his professional rugby at age 29 to pursue medical studies, and to focus on his expanding family.
Straight after the 1987 World Cup, Campbell headed to England with his young family on a one-year Kobe Steel scholarship at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, where he played with The Oxford XV.
