As of 2012, and despite being in the class, his name was picked to represent the Eastern Province Country Districts at the top school competition held in South Africa, the Under-18 Craven Week. In Manjezi’s rugby career Manjezi played at a youth provincial level, a part of in the Eastern Province Under-19 team in 2012 and 2013.
