Rory Clegg is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on January 6, 1990 in Hanover, Germany. Clegg was born at the British Military Hospital, Hanover, Germany on 6 January 1990. His father was in the army. Clegg attended Barnard Castle School, County Durham. He was a member of the School’s first XV, coached by Martin Pepper (ex-Harlequin). Rory began playing rugby at Darlington RFC when he was 10 years old. He went on to represent Barnard Castle School’s first XV under Martin Pepper, County Durham, and the North of England in age group play.

He moved to Harlequins in 2009 and made his Premiership debut on 31 October before a record crowd of 14,282 at Twickenham Stoop. He scored a third penalty at the halfway line in the final minute to salvage a draw with London Irish, 9-9. In Harlequins’ 2011-12 Premiership victory over Leicester Tigers, he was their replacement. Dean Richards lured him back to Newcastle Falcons after he made over 50 appearances for Harlequins, scoring over 270 points. He was then loaned to Leeds Carnegie, where he played eight games and scored a total score of 80 points.

By the time Clegg celebrated his 21st birthday in 2011, he had not only represented England at three levels, under-16, under-18 and under-20, but also played in 25 Guinness Premiership matches and scored 96 points, split between Harlequins and Newcastle Falcons.

Clegg joined the Falcons ahead of the 2013–14 Aviva Premiership following their promotion from the RFU Championship. His contract with the Falcons ran out at the end of the 2014–15 season.

He started his representative career in England under-16. In 2008, he was the starting flyhalf for the unbeaten under-18 team. In 2009, he was the starting half for the unbeaten Under-18 side. In 2010, he was the under-20 player for the IRB Junior World Championships in Japan.
