Mosese Nasau Rauluni, a former Fijian rugby union footballer, was born 27 June 1975 in Suva. He plays as a scrum half and was a player for Saracens in England’s Guinness Premiership. He played for Fiji and was even their captain. He is Jacob Rauluni’s younger brother and Waisale Serevi’s first cousin.

He was twice capped for Fiji in 2004 games against Samoa, Tonga and Tonga. These two games were qualifying matches for the 2007 World Cup and Rauluni helmed Fiji on both occasions. He was chosen to be part of the Pacific Islanders team, which consisted of top Tongan, Samoan, and Fijian players. The Pacific Islanders were involved in matches against Australia, South Africa and the All Blacks. In 2005, he was capped nine more times. He signed a new contract with the Saracens in May 2006. This was until the 2007/08 season. He played a crucial role in helping Fiji reach the quarterfinals at the 2007 RWC. He was considered the half-back of the tournament by some.

Rauluni was a part of matches against Tonga, Argentina, and Chile in 2003. He was selected to represent Fiji in the 2003 Rugby World Cup squad. Fiji represented him in four matches of the World Cup.

Rauluni was born in Brisbane, and played club rugby for Easts between 1995 and 2004. In 1993-1994, he was a member of the Australian U-19s. On 1 November 1996, he made his Fiji test debut in a match against New Zealand Maori. He was capped three more times by Fiji the following season, in match matches against Samoa, Tonga and Cook Islands. He played in a Test against Wallabies the following season.

In May 1999, he returned to Fiji’s international stage. He played against the United States, and then played against Spain and Italy. He was part of Fiji’s 1999 Rugby World Cup team and participated in all four pool matches. He was awarded five more caps for Fiji after the World Cup. In 2001, he only played one test against Tonga on 25 May.

He was forced to retire due to injury in June 2010 and later, later being recruited by Sam Domoni, the Flying Fijians head coach, ahead of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, which would see Rauluni coach the backs. In June 2010 he coached the Saracens academy side, with Kevin Sorrell, before becoming head coach of Harrow School, an English private school. He returned to Fiji in 2014, joining the new coaching set up under John McKee of which Rauluni and McKee guided Fiji to qualification to the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He is now the Defensive and skills coach with the national team.
