Xie Zhong is one of the most popular and richest Figure Skater who was born on September 19, 1998 in Harbin, China. Xie Zhong (Chinese: Jie Zhong ; born 19 September 1998) is a Chinese pair skater who is currently skating together with Liu Jiaxi. Alongside his former with Gao Yumeng, he was an 2016 World Junior bronze medalist and the 2017 Chinese Olympic bronze medalist at an elite level.
In their first international appearance together Gao/Xie finished 5th in the Junior Grand Prix (JGP) event held in the beginning of September In Ostrava, Czech Republic. The same result was achieved on the second JGP assignment, which was in Saransk, Russia. Then, in December of last year, the team were awarded the bronze medal while competing as senior athletes at the Chinese Championships.
In March 2017, Gao/Xie won the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in Taipei, having ranked second in the short program and third in the free skate.
In the 2015-2016 season, Xie skated in partnership with Zhao Ying. They competed in two 2015 JGP events, finishing 8th in the month of August at Riga, Latvia, and 7th in the next month’s event at Linz, Austria. At the senior level The pair took home Bronze in the Chinese Championships in December. They were 5th in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics, held in February in Hamar, Norway.

Xie started learning skating in 2003. After forming an alliance together with Wang Wen, he teamed along with Zhang Mingyang. Zhang Mingyang and Zhang Wen competed on the 2013 Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series, finishing 4th in the month of August, the city of Riga, Latvia.
Xie placed fifth along together with Zhang Ziyi at the Chinese Championships in December 2014.
