Zahra Lari is one of the most popular and richest Figure Skater who was born on March 3, 1995 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Zahra Laari, an Emirati figure-skating champion was born March 3, 1995. She is also the first United Arab Emirates figure-skating competitor to compete internationally. She is the Emirati national champion (2016) and 2018.

Zahra is originally from Abu Dhabi, UAE. Her mother, a native of North Carolina, converted to Islam before she met her Emirati father at an Atlanta university. After watching the Disney movie Ice Princess, she was inspired to learn figure skating and began lessons at age 13. While she is currently studying at Abu Dhabi University, she plans to become a coach and continue her studies in environmental safety. She was featured in an advertisement by Nike, Inc. featuring Muslim women athletes.

Lari started competing at the senior level. She placed 4th at FBMA Trophy – her highest international placing to date. She placed 11th at the 2015 International Challenge Cup.
