Ngidi later was back in KwaZulu-Natal where the team he played for was the College Rovers side that finished runners-up in the inaugural edition of the club’s amateur competition called SARU Community Cup. SARU Community Cup in 2013. He started one match during the pool phase of the competition , and came in as a substitute for the semi-final game against Brakpan however he did not play in the final game as College Rovers suffered a 26-24 loss to Despatch.

He remained with the Falcons for the 2015 season, making a total of seventeen first class appearances in the Vodacom Cup, Currie Cup qualification and Currie Cup First Division competitions.

He also made eight appearances with the team in the 2010 Vodacom Cup tournament (seven of them as an substitute) and made just three appearances in the Currie Cup First Division.

After playing for the an amateur team Jaguars during Jaguars at the National Club Championships in 2006 In 2006, he was a member of the Sharks U21 side at the 2007 Provincial Under-21 Championship.
