Williams began her transition from rugby sevens to the year 2011 she was selected to join the Australian Women’s Rugby Sevens team . Injuries kept from her participation in the Sao Paulo Sevens in February 2016. However, she returned just in time to be selected in the final game of the 2015-16 season in Clermont which saw her team take home the first ever national World Series.
On Australia Day 2017, Williams, along with her Rio team mates, was awarded an Order of Australia Medal.
In 2010, during the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England, Williams scored one score with Wales and two for Australia’s 62-0 win against South Africa.
