Rod Seib is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on January 16, 1960 in Australia. Rodney Seib, a professional Australian rugby union coach and former player for the Queensland Reds and Glasgow Warriors was born in 1975. He was also a rugby sevens player for Australia.
The following year, Seib moved to Scotland. Seib signed in 2001 and played for Aberdeen GSFP. Seib was the Aberdeen captain from 2002 to 2006. Seib was also a member of Aberdeen’s Sevens team.
Seib won the Player’s player of the year for the BT Premiership in 2003–04.
Seib was made Head Coach of Aberdeen in 2011. From 2012 he coached Sunnybank Rugby. He later became an Assistant Coach at Brisbane City with responsibility for the team’s attack. In 2016 he was promoted to Brisbane City’s Head Coach position. Seib became head coach of Queensland Country in 2018.
After a stellar season with Sunnybank, for which he received the Queensland Rugby Union’s “XXXXX” Medal for player of year (shared by Richard Graham of Easts), Seib was chosen to play in the Ricoh National championship for the Queensland Reds. Seib was capped three more times by Queensland, including against Argentina during their 2000 tour.

Rod Seib graduated from Brisbane State High School in 1992. His father, Ian Seib played first-class cricket in Queensland during the 1970s.
Seib was a member of the Sunnybank Rugby Club in Brisbane. Seib was a member of the Queensland Under-21 rugby team in 1995. He was also capped for Australia 7s in 1999, which included tours to Uruguay and Argentina.
In season 2002–03, Seib was called up to Glasgow Warriors back up squad. Such was his form for club side Aberdeen, there was much talk of Seib’s move to the provincial Glasgow side being made permanent, however, work commitments prevented him joining Glasgow full-time. He played in the Warriors’ match against Harlequins on 9 August 2002.
