Disinformation: The Interviews(2002) includes uncut interviews with many of the characters and thinkers that were guests on the series, including Douglas Rushkoff and Joe Coleman, Grant Morrison and Duncan Laurie. An anthology of essays on the occult, “Book of Lies: The Diinformation Guide to Magick & The Occult”, (2004).
Metzger hosted the TV program Disinformation. It aired on Channel 4 in the UK for two seasons (2000 & 2001).

A footnote in Disinformation. The Interviews states that Metzger was the uncredited male voice who interviewed Maki Nomiya, a Japanese pop singer, on their song “This Year’s Girl 2” (Matador Records EP CD “5 x 5 “). Metzger also produced and directed music videos for many “underground” New York luminaries such as Bongwater (their animated “Power of Pussy”), John Sex, and others in the 1980s.
Metzger founded the “Disinformation” website back in 1996. He was able to regain control over the intellectual property rights and the $1.2 million investment made by TCI (now AT&T Broadband). John Malone, TCI CEO, had requested funds be cut off after hearing about Metzger’s “anarchist bullshit”. He co-founded The Disinformation Company in 1997, joining Avenue A/Razorfish and becoming part of the RSUB Network up to 2001.
