Lim originally stated that he didn’t want to continue playing professionally as a guitarist. Lim performed improvised and altered versions of both the Korean national anthem as well as the American national song at the KORUS festival. He played the third time, in 2008, at the YouTube Live festival on November 22. There, he performed alongside Joe Satriani. His first performance was a mix of Canon Rock, Joe’s “Surfing With the Alien”, and then “Canon Rock”. He was a featured performer in October 2009 at the fall ICANN meeting’s welcoming ceremony. Later, he joined in on their music night. He also stated that he wants to continue playing guitar as a hobby in the same interview.
Lim, Hwiju, Park, and Chris Lee formed One Sided in March 2010, in Auckland, New Zealand. Han Lee sings rhythm guitar and vocals, Lim plays lead guitar and Chris Lee plays the keyboard.
