Cody Jamieson (born July 17 1987, in Six Nations, Ontario) is an Ontario Mohawk lacrosse player of the Turtle Clan at Grand River. He is a player for the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League and The New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse and the Six Nations Chiefs in Major Series Lacrosse. Jamieson is an ex-attack player at Syracuse University, where he received a degree in Communication.
Jamieson was picked first overall from the Rochester Knighthawks in the 2010 NLL draft. Jamieson scored 53 points during his first season, and finished just behind Curtis Dickson in the Rookie of the Year poll. Jamieson became the primary offensive head of the Knighthawks during his second season as he led the team with 35 scores and 85 goals, as the Knighthawks took home the third Champion’s Cup. Jamieson scored four goals and four assists, was named the Championship Game MVP.
A year later, Jamieson won the scoring title with 108 points and 72 assists. He led the Knighthawks to their third straight Championship, making them second in the NLL and top of their Eastern Division. His hard work and achievements were recognized and he was named league MVP in 2014.
Jamieson finished his outstanding junior career with 199 goals and 395 points, as well as 141 goals and 251 points in the playoffs. He is currently ranked 24th all time in goals (regular season and playoffs combined) in Canadian junior lacrosse history with 340.
Jamieson moved to Syracuse in the year 2008. However due to academic issues, Jamieson was not allowed to play until the final few games during this season. Jamieson was a part of his team Orange in the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship. Syracuse reached the championship game. In the sudden death overtime of the final contest, Jamieson scored the game-winning goal to win Syracuse the second National title in consecutive years. Jamieson was named to the NCAA All-Tournament championship team after scoring 8 goals over six games.

In 2007 Jamieson was the top player in the country with goals (65) as well as assists (51) and points (116) in the lead up to an undefeated second straight season and the national championship. In the championship game of 2007, Jamieson scored 9 goals and was also awarded the game M.V.P. honors for the second time in consecutive years. He was awarded as an NJCAA first-team All- American and was named the NJCAA offensive player of the year.

During the last year of his lacrosse career at Onondaga Community College he received the Tom Longboat Award, given to Canada’s top aboriginal athletes. This made him the second lacrosse player from Six Nations to receive this accolade. His career at the college also left a legacy as in 2014 he was added to the college’s Alumni Faces display, which stands to recognize alumni for their achievements and contributions to the community.
