Pablo Lemoine is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on March 1, 1975 in Montevideo, Montevideo Department, Uruguay. Pablo Adrian Lemoine (born 1 March 1975 in Montevideo) is an ex- Uruguayan football union member as well as a the former chief coach for both the Uruguayan national team as well as the German nation’s team. After his retirement from the sport in 2012, Lemoine recommenced coaching. He started with his team Montevideo Cricket Club U-19’s side. However, it was only a short time frame, he was later appointed the head coach of Uruguay’s Uruguayan national team on an agreement for four years, in the hope of getting into next year’s Rugby World Cup. The first game he was in charge of was against Argentina in the 2012 South American Rugby Championship “A” which Argentina beat Uruguay 40-5. Uruguay won the match and beat Chile in the finals as well as Brazil to finish second. in June of 2012, Uruguay took part in the 2012 IRB Nations Cup, where Uruguay placed fourth in the group behind host Romania, Argentina Jaguars and Italy A. In 2013, the 2013 South American Rugby Championship “A” began Uruguay’s progress towards qualification to in 2015’s Rugby World Cup, which continued to be alive when it finished second in the NACRA-CONSUR playoff final in which they will play Uruguay and the United States. The opening game of play-off matches saw Uruguay play 27-27 at Montevideo however, they lost 32-13 in the match that followed which took place in Kennesaw, Georgia, which led the Uruguayan team to repechage qualifying.
On 1 December 2015, it was announced that Lemoine had stepped down as Uruguayan head coach, and became the new Director of High Performance for the URU, whilst leading the High Performance Center at Estadio Charrúa. Lemoine left his role with the URU in early 2018 following his appointment as the German national team head coach.
In August 2018, it was announced that the German Rugby Federation were searching for a new coach ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup Repechage, after it emerged Lemoine had returned to South America. It was later announced that Lemoine had been named the head coach of Chile.
He was transferred from Stade Francais for the 2000-01 French Rugby Union Championship, where his team advanced to the quarter-finals during his first season. The team also reached finals in 2001’s Heineken Cup Final, though they fell in the final to Leicester Tigers 34-30. The team struggled during 2001-02 season, getting up to the second round of the Top 16, and getting eliminated in the quarter-finals in the 2001/02 Heineken Cup. But, Stade Francais managed to claim an impressive Top 16 title in 2003. They won the title again in 2004, and finished 2nd in the year 2005. They also made it to in the 2005 Heineken Cup Final, only losing against Toulouse 18-12 in extra time. Haven suffered injuries in the middle of the 2005-06 campaign, Lemoine was released from his contract and transferred to Montauban. Haven was seventh consecutive seasons at Montauban, Pablo moved to Avenir Valencien in the Federale 1 and then returned home to Uruguay in the year 2010. He played in the Montevideo Cricket Club, before ending his career in 2012.

Lemoine began playing the sport at 11 years old at the age of 11, and two years after that was a member of his club, the Montevideo Cricket Club, working through the age grade teams. Along his way, he was awarded his junior National Championship in 1989, 1990 1992, 1989 and 1994. The first time he played was in the senior team in 1995, in the Campeonato Uruguayo de Rugby, against Club Champagnat. He received a lot of attention within his country before being transferred into Bristol Shoguns ahead of the 1998-1999 Allied Dunbar Premiership Two season in which he became the first Uruguayan professional player. He assisted the team in gaining an increase to the highest stage of English domestic rugby, in the 1999 and 2000 English Premiership which saw Bristol was sixth on the league. Additionally, they finished the top of their group at the European Challenge Cup, making it to the semi-finals only to fall in the semi-final to Pau 51-27.
Haven been a player for Uruguay at the age grade in 1991-96 where he was captain of the U-19’s team at the Under 19 Rugby World Championship in 1993 and 1994. Lemoine made his debut with the senior Uruguayan team on September 2nd, 1995 in a match against Spain with a score of 47-10. He then played thirteen times more, after which he scored his first test international score, in a match against Portugal. He was picked as a player for 1999’s Rugby World Cup, where he played in every game for the Teros. He played in another Rugby World Cup, where also he took part in all the games Uruguay took part in the tournament in 2003. Lemoine became the very first Uruguayan who scored a goal in the Rugby World Cup match, scoring during the defeat of 60-13 to Samoa on the 15th of October, 2003. His last game was 27 November 2010 in Romania at the RWC final play-off game which they did not get into this year’s Rugby World Cup. He has played in 48 matches, with four tries 20 points in aggregate.
During the 2014 South American Rugby Championship “A”, Uruguay claimed their first Championship in 33 years, haven beaten Paraguay 34–10, Brazil 34–9 and Chile 55–13. On 2 August 2014, Uruguay beat Hong Kong 28–3, to set up a home and away series against Russia to claim the final sport in Pool A. Haven lost 22–21 in Krasnoyarsk, Uruguay needed to beat Russia by 2 points or more to qualify, and on 11 October, Uruguay beat Russia 36–27 to qualify for the World Cup. However, the matches leading up to the World Cup, saw Uruguay claim just three wins from 13 games, though one of those wins was a first ever victory over Argentina, winning 30–26 – though it was an Argentina XV side that was fielded. They lost to back to back matches to Japan in August 2015, the first test being a first ever loss to the Japanese, 30–8. Uruguay failed to claim a win during the 2015 Rugby World Cup, losing all their matches in their group; 54–9 to Wales, 65–3 to Australia, 47–15 to Fiji and 60–3 to England. Though, Uruguay did pick up their first World Cup try in 12 years, when Carlos Arboleya scored a try against Fiji on 6 October 2015.
