Gosa was hired by the cash-strapped Eastern Province Kings in August 2016 for the 2016 Currie Cup Premier Division. His first class debut was when he came on as a substitute in the match against Boland Cavaliers. He scored his first senior points within ten minute of his debut, converting a Johann Tromp attempt. He made his senior debut as the fly-half for their midweek match against Griquas after two more appearances against the Blue Bulls. After their loss to Sharks, he was a fullback before returning to the bench for the EP Kings’ final two matches. This season saw them finish last in the log.
He also made two appearances in the Under-21 Provincial Championship for the Johannesburg-based Golden Lions’s Under-21 Team.

Gosa was born at King William’s Town, Eastern Cape. He attended Selborne College in East London. Gosa was a first team rugby player for the school and also served as the side’s captain in 2013. He was chosen to represent the Border Bulldogs, his local provincial union at schoolboy level twice. He played at the Under-16 Grant Khomo Week tournament in 2011 and the Under-18 Craven Week tournament 2013 where he scored a try in Namibia and kicked seven goals against the Boland Cavaliers.
Gosa began playing rugby sevens after high school. He was a member of the South Africa Sevens Academy team in several international tournaments in 2015, 2016, and 2016. He was also named in an extended team for training for the 2016 Summer Olympics. However, he did not make it to the national team.
Gosa moved to Potchefstroom to join the Leopards for the 2017 season.
