Stokke hails from Tromso and was part of the first graduating class at LIPA (Paul McCartney’s school, Liverpool) in 1998. She was given the role of Sophie in the West End production, Mamma Mia! by ABBA just four months after she had completed her final exams. After having appeared on stage approximately 400 times, she remained in the cast for just one year. After appearing in Guys and Dolls, Chess and Hard Times, she moved on to the West End.
