Although he still had the opportunity to play for SWD at the Under-21 level in 2015, he played exclusively for the senior team. He was a bench player for all eight of their the 2015 Vodacom Cup matches. The senior side’s season finished, he joined the U21 team that made it to an end of group B in the Under-21 Provincial Championship, starting the game and scoring the team’s sole points in the match as his team’s Eastern Province U21s won the game 46-3.
