John Devereux is one of the most popular and richest Rugby League Player who was born on March 30, 1966 in Bridgend County Borough, Australia. John Anthony Devereux (born 30 March 1966) is a Welsh former dual-code football international. In 1989, he played in the British and Irish Lions, and at the time, played in the club rugby union with Bridgend. He also played in the rugby league in Widnes within England along with the Manly- Warringah Sea Eagles from Australia which earned him a spot as a representative in both the Great Britain and Wales national rugby league teams. After his retirement from the sport, the team, he became manager of Wales’s Wales Rugby League team.
He was chosen to take part to in the year 1992 on Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand. In 1992, too Devereux was on the bench in the Great Britain’s loss to Australia during the World Cup Final at Wembley.
