Geoffrey Dominic Sebastian Cross (born 11 December 1982) is a Scottish former union rugby player. He was prop in the tight-head position with The Border Reivers, Edinburgh and London Irish. He earned forty caps with Scotland between 2009 and 2014. He is also a licensed doctor.

He was called up to this year’s Six Nations Championship, making appearances against England, Ireland and Italy He has also been in Scotland’s subsequent games.

For a period of over a year during 2014 and 2015, Cross grew a beard of epic magnitude. He was encouraged to cultivate during a loan spell at Glasgow Warriors by team-mate – and similarly-bearded wonder – Josh Strauss:

Geoff began professional rugby when the club he was in was a member of Border Reivers in 2003 from Heriot’s after playing for Scotland under-21 the previous year. Geoff was also a tight-head for the team that defeated England 33-22 in Newbury at the end of the game of the world age group championship.
