Ueckermann returned to the team for the 2015 season in the Group A of the tournament He started eight of their games. He scored a try in their win of 25-15 against Sharks U21. He finished the season on a high note with two attempts in their final match which ended in a 31-45 loss to Western Province U21. The season was not a great one for the team however, since they won only one match during their first season at the new level, being last in the league.

In 2014, Ueckermann moved to Port Elizabeth to join the Eastern Province. He started seven matches in the Eastern Province U21 team in Group B of the 2014 U21 Provincial Championship. He scored one score during their win of 46-3 over SWD U21. The team was victorious in all of their games in the regular season, but they had to face defeat Limpopo Blue Bulls in the semi-finals, in the semi-final and SWD at the end of their final. Ueckermann playing in both of those games to help them win the victory. He also began their promotion play- off game one week later, and Eastern Province won 64-9 against Border U21 to earn promotion to the Group A.

He was amongst a large contingent of youngsters that were included in the Eastern Province Kings squad for the 2016 Currie Cup qualification series. He was named in starting line-up for their second match of the season against the Boland Cavaliers and made his first class debut in an 18–37 defeat in Wellington. In his sixth start for the EP Kings – against the Sharks XV in Round Nine of the competition – Ueckermann got his first senior try, scoring ten minutes before the end of a 26–34 defeat.
