Eric Norwood (born May 24 1998) was a former American football defensive lineman. He was a part of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was a part of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League from 2013 until 2015. He previously played at The University of South Carolina. In his time at the university Norwood broke school record records for tackles for loss (54.5) as well as quarterback sacks (29). With numerous national and conference distinctions, Norwood is one of the most accomplished defensive athletes in SEC history. In October 2009, Norwood was selected to The Sporting News midseason All-American team. Following the conclusion of the 2009 regular season, Norwood was named a First-team All- American by the Associated Press and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
