Robert Errey (born September 21 1964) is an Canadian former professional left wing of ice hockey and currently a sportscaster with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected as the 15th pick overall for Pittsburgh at the time of 1983 NHL Entry Draft and played 895 NHL games throughout the duration of his professional career.

Errey was the head coach for the San Jose Sharks for the 1993-94 NHL season as well as during the 1994-95 NHL season.

Errey was most famously a part of Errey was a key player for the Pittsburgh Penguins, but also was a part of his team the Buffalo Sabres, San Jose Sharks, Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. Errey won the two Stanley Cups as a member of the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. He also was a part of Team Canada in 1997 winning an Olympic silver medal in the World Championships and appeared in the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals with Detroit. As a member of the Penguins the team, he initially was wearing jersey #10 before settling to the number 12. The team retired him in the year 1999, after playing all of the 1998-99 season in The Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Errey is a native of Montreal, Quebec. When he was a child Errey was a participant during the 1997 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as a minor ice hockey club of Peterborough, Ontario.

Errey participated in junior ice hockey for his team the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League from the year 1980 until 1983. In that time, he worked along with Steve Yzerman to form the top line and was the leader of the team with 53 goals in 1983. Errey was to eventually join Yzerman with Yzerman in Detroit for a full season, as well as two half seasons during the mid 90s.
