After Noa Nakaitaci was injured, he played in the 2016-17 Top 14 Final. He scored Clermont’s first try and helped them win the Final.
In September 2017, his contract with Clermont was extended by three more years.

As part of a memorandum signed between Nadroga Rugby & ASM Clermont, he joined the ASM Clermont Academy in November 2014. Peceli Yato, Uwa Tuwalo and other academy players joined him.
Raka was born in Nakorovatu (Naitasiri) and attended Waimala Secondary School. Before joining the main Nadroga team, he played age-grade rugby for Nadroga in both the u16 & u20 grades. Before joining champion side Daveta, he played 7’s rugby at Tovolea. He made his debut in Nadroga’s Skipper Cup against Vatukoula, scoring a try.
In March 2016, he scored 2 brilliant tries against Stade Toulousain. He has scored 5 tries in 6 games since his debut.
