Alipate Ratini is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on February 17, 1991 in Namosi, Central Division, Fiji, Fiji. Ratu Alipate Ratini was born in Namosi on February 17, 1991. He is a Fijian rugby union footballer and rugby league player. He was a winger for Fiji, and also previously for Grenoble’s Top 14 French side. He was also a former high-school sprint champion, clocking 10.7secs in 100m. He signed for La Rochelle, a Top 14 team in January 2016. At the end of that season, he signed for Stade Francais.

John McKee, Fiji coach, named him in the national team to play against France in 2014. He would make a disappointing international debut for Fiji but did score his first attempt.

In July 2015, he was fired by Grenoble because of poor behaviour.

In January 2016, he was signed on by La Rochelle for the remainder of the 2015–16 Top 14 season. In June 2016, he signed a one-year deal with another Top14 side, Stade Francais.

He returned to Fiji in May 2013 to compete for his spot to represent Fiji 7 at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens.

He signed a National Rugby League contract in December 2012 with the Cronulla Sharks. They were impressed by him after his Gold coast sevens. Although he didn’t play in the 2013 NRL season, he did play in a few NSW Cup matches. After not being able make the sharks’ starting team, he joined Grenoble’s Top 14 side Grenoble. In September 2013, he made his Top 14 debut against Biarritz. In the Amlin Challenge Cup, he scored two tries against the Wasps.

He also joined the Fiji Warriors team. Namosi was his first 7’s team, and he was then selected by Alifereti Dere, the Fiji 7’s coach. His 7’s debut was at the 2012 Gold Coast Sevens. In that tournament, he scored 7 tries. Due to injury, he was removed from the Fiji 7 team for the next leg.

After an impressive outing, he led the try tally for Grenoble in the 2014–15 Top 14 season with 7 tries in 7 starts.
