Soon after his move to Milan the fashion designer lived in Milan and worked alongside Egon Von Furstenburg. After returning in his home in the United States in 1986 and finding positive for HIV He lobbied quietly to raise AIDS education and treatment. Then it was Buck who first brought Ryan White to the attention of Elton John.
