Troy Dillinger (born February 28, 1967) is a musician, comedian, actor/writer/producer/director, community activist, graphic & web designer, and owner of an advertising & marketing agency in Austin, Texas. He is most well-known for being a musician and singer across Europe and the US and Europe and for founding Save Austin Music, creating Austin Swim, along with Adult Swim Presents, and producing, writing and hosting the Austin Variety Show.
He launched his highly acclaimed “Dirty & Harry” CD/DVD full-length film and recording festival which was awarded by both the Austin Music Network and The Austin Chronicle. In 2005 the artist created Austin Swim, an adult swimming event that resulted in the launch the series Adult Swim Presents.
He was in 1998 when he started acting and landing minor roles in movies like American Outlaws, The New Guy along with Miss Congeniality (film).

Troy was gifted his first guitar when 13 years old and was already singing in Austin nightclubs before age 16. His first concert was in 1985, at age 18 together with Dino Lee. He later co-founded BAND from HELL the underground punk band that received much praise but did not sign any record deals.
Then, in the year 1992, Dillinger formed Del Dragons, a roots rock group with a sound that resembles the Rolling Stones and The Faces (band). The group broke up after the release of its first full-length album in 1997. They performed in across the US as well as Europe in the form of “Troy Dillinger & Del Dragons” until 1999. In the latter part of 1999, he began to perform in the role of Troy Dillinger with a rotating group of musicians that comprised Hunt Sales, Ian McLagan and other members.
In 2008, Dillinger severed his ties with Adult Swim and created The Austin Variety Show, a local television show which features Austin music, comedy, burlesque, and a live game show with members of the audience. The show aired on KBVO (TV) from 2010-2013 before moving to the internet.
