Sturges was born in France, Sturges is one of seven Americans who were baptized in the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Sturges is third in line to Preston Sturges, the Hollywood screenwriter and director who passed away at the age of three. Tom was just three years old as well as Sandy Nagle Sturges.
