Driano was awarded the bronze medal alongside Anett Potzsch, and Dagmar Lurz in the 1977 European Championships in Helsinki, Finland. Her second major international gold medal came in the next season. In 1978, at the World Championships in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, she placed fourth in the figure count as well as sixth in the sprint program while she was sixth for the open program. She was awarded the bronze medal after Potzsch as well as Linda Fratianne.

Susanna Driano (born May 28th 1957) is an American-Italian figure skater who represented Italy. She was an 1977 World bronze medalist. as well as a double European bronze medalist (1976 and 1980) and the six-time Italian National winner (1975-80).

Driano played internationally for Italy. In 1974-75 she was one of the six successive Italian national titles. She was also invited to the first ISU Championships; she finished sixth at the 1975 Europeans and ninth at the 1975 Worlds.

Driano was awarded bronze at the 1980 European Championships in Gothenburg, behind Pötzsch and Lurz. She placed 6th in figures, 14th in the short, 10th in the free, and 8th overall at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. She withdrew from the 1980 World Championships and stopped competing but never turned professional. Making a brief return to competition, she placed fourth at the 1985 Winter Universiade in Belluno, Italy.
