Stanislav Bohonek, born on the 28th, 1952 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He was the brother of Jan Bohonek, was born just three years after. The family relocated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1968 in response to the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia.

After having graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Bohonek earned master’s degrees in biology from Cleveland State University. He continued his studies at the dental program, finishing in 1987 and established a private dentist’s office at Westlake, Ohio in 1989. Together with his brother the author, he illustrated and wrote the children’s book on dental health.

In the 1976-77 season Bohonek was removed from the Ontario-Quebec divisionals because of the Achilles tendon being tender on his right foot.

Stanislav “Stan” Bohonek (born on December 28, 1952) is a Canadian former figure skater in competitive competition. He competed for Canada in the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

Bohonek was awarded his bronze award at the 1995 Canadian Championships. After re-emerging as the bronze medalist at the national championships the next year, he was selected to Canada’s team for at the 1976 Winter Olympics. He was 14th in the men’s single skating in the competition at Innsbruck, Austria.
