Shaun Sowerby is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on July 1, 1978 in Vereeniging, Gauteng, South Africa. Shaun Sowerby (born (1978-07-01 ) 1 July 1978) is a South African rugby union footballer. He plays for FC Grenoble in the top French rugby competition, the Top 14. Prior to playing at the Stade Ernest-Wallon he turned out for Stade Français Paris, who he moved to from the Sharks in South Africa. In the summer of 2007, he transferred to Stade Francais’ rivals Stade Toulousain, where he greatly impressed.
At the start of 2014, Sowerby announced his intention to retire from the game at the end of the 2013–14 season. He was subsequently appointed as the forwards coach of South African provincial side the Eastern Province Kings.
