He played for The Border Bulldogs at the 2004 Under-16 Grant Khomo Week and the Youth Academy Week Under-18 in 2006 tournaments. Then he joined the Sharks academy, and played for their Under-19s in 2007 and their Under-21 team in 2008 and in 2009. He was also part of the Sharks XV squad for the 2010 Vodacom Cup tournament however, he was not able to play in the tournament.
In 2011 in 2011, the Griquas were able to select him for their 2011 squad Currie Cup Premier Division, where he started two games. His first game took place against Border Bulldogs in a compulsory friendly match. The first time he played was in competition itself with Western Province in a 26-26 draw on the first date of season. A second start followed and an appearance in a substitute role with his team the SWD Eagles in the 2011 Currie Cup First Division season against the Griffons.
He once again played for the Sharks during the 2014 Vodacom Cup, but then made the move to France, where he joined Rugby Pro D2 side Albi prior to the 2014–15 Rugby Pro D2 season.
