Samuel Aiken (born December 14 in 1980) is an ex- American soccer wide receiver. He was selected to the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. In March of 2008 Aiken was officially signed to the New England Patriots as an unrestricted, free agent. Aiken was on the field for 14 games during his debut campaign with the Patriots and made two starts as a wide receiver. He also recorded the score of 101 yards and eight receptions. After finishing high school, Aiken was a student at his first college, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He played in the entire 11 games as a wide receiver during his freshman year in 1999. He was awarded co-Most Outstanding Freshman accolades along with defensive lineman Julius Peppers.
