Robin Peers is one of the most popular and richest Rugby League Player who was born on January 18, 1982 in North Tyneside District, United Kingdom. Robin Peers, born 18 January 1982 in England, is a former English professional rugby league footballer. He was the head coach of Boston Thirteens in USARL and interim Head Coach for the USA Hawks National Team. His only club, Gateshead Thunder, was his home for 13 years. In 2002, he made his grade debut as a winger. He played there most of his life, but his last season in 2012 was spent at full back. Peers was an integral part of the Gateshead Thunder team, which won the 2008 championship.
Robin was part the winning England Universities team that won in 2001 the European Rugby Cup. This was prior to his appearance at Gateshead. The cup was won by the team in Kazan (Russia), which won all four games. Robin scored his first international attempt in the final.
Alongside his playing career, Peers trained and practiced as a rugby league coach. He started coaching at Newcastle Eagles (now Wallsend Eagles) in 2003, forming and coaching many of their teams (juniors & adults). He was employed as a full-time Community Rugby League Coach for County Durham in May 2005 and worked in this role until October 2009. He then worked full-time for the Rugby Football League as a Talent Coach from November 2009 to March 2012.
In 2008 he won a league championship as part of the Gateshead team that season. He made 15 appearances on the wing and scored 9 tries. He was on the field as the club clinched the league title on 17 August 2008 with a 22-14 win away at Workington Town.
In December 2001, he made a second appearance for England against the Queensland Universities touring side. The match was played at Blackheath RFC, London.

Robin was born in Wallsend, North Tyneside. He attended Richardson Dees First School (West Middle School), Burnside Community High School and Western Middle School. Peers played junior rugby league with the Newcastle Eagles (now Wallsend Eagles), and signed for the club in 1992. He signed for the club in 1999 while still in high school and made his final appearance on 1 April 2012, scoring a 90m try in a 30-18 defeat versus Whitehaven. 3 days prior to this, Peers played in his testimonial game versus a North East Select XIII.
