Fujisawa was awarded the Female Meijin title in March 2017. Hsieh Yimin was beaten by Fujisawa by 2-0. Hsieh Yimin beat her by 2-1 in June 2017 to win her second Aizu Central Hospital Cup. Fujisawa defeated Hsieh Yimin in July 2017 to win the second Senko Cup.
She won the 2nd Ibero-Japan Cup in March 2016. This tournament was only open to players aged 18 and under. In the final, she beat Toramaru Schibano and became the second woman to win an open title in tennis after Hsieh Yimin. She defeated Hsieh Yimin in October to retake Female Honinbo.
