Rebeka Kim is one of the most popular and richest Figure Skater who was born on January 27, 1998 in Vilnius, South Korea. Rebeka Kim (Hangul gimrebeka – born January 27, 1998) is a South Korean ice dancer. She is the 2016 South Korean National Champion and was sixth at the 2014 World Junior Championships. Kim also competed in single skating earlier in her career. She is the Torun Cup novice champion in 2009 and 2010.
Kim/Minov was the first Korean ice dancing team to win an international competition. They won the junior ice dancing event at the 2013 NRW Trophy in November 2013. They finished sixth at the 2014 World Junior Championships, Sofia.
Kim started competing in ice dance with Kirill Minov, representing South Korea, in 2012. Alexander Svinin and Irina Zhuk coach them. Kim/Minov were selected to the 2012-13 ISU Junior Grand Prix events, Austria and Croatia. While they waited for permission from the International Skating Union for Minov to change his country, they missed the first event. Minov was allowed to represent South Korea on September 21 2012. Kim/Minov placed 10th at their international debut in Croatia. They were qualified to perform the free dance at 2013 World Junior Championships Milan and placed 20th overall.

Kim started figure skating when she was seven years old. She first competed in single-skating. At the 2009 Lithuanian Championships, she won the title of novice lady skater. She was called “another Kim Yuna” by the Korean media in 2009. Rebeka Kim was the subject of a documentary by KBS Global Network Korean in February 2009.
Kim was born in Vilnius, Lithuania and has maintained her Korean citizenship. Fluently, she speaks English, Korean, English, and Lithuanian. She moved to Moscow, Russia in 2010 with her family for her skating training.
Kim/Minov started their first senior season at an ISU Challenger Series event, the 2014 Nebelhorn Trophy, where they placed 7th. They received two Grand Prix assignments, the 2014 Rostelecom Cup and 2014 Trophee Eric Bompard. They are the first Korean ice dancing team to participate in any ISU Grand Prix event. At the Volvo Open Cup, Kim/Minov placed 3rd in total and they became the first Korean ice dancing team to medal at the ISU event.
