Peni Ravai is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on June 16, 1990 in Tailevu, Central Division, Fiji, Fiji. Peni Ravai Kovekalou (born 16 June, 1990) located in Tailevu, Fiji is a Fijian rugby union footballer. He is currently a prop and hooker with the Flying Fijians and previously for Southland in the Mitre 10 Cup in New Zealand and Pro D2 team, Aurillac. He is a Bordeaux-Begles player as part of the Top 14. He also has played at the centre and at the wings.

In May of 2015 the player was selected as a member of the Fiji Warriors team to tour Uruguay during the mid-year 2015 internationals of the rugby union. He began as a Loosehead prop during the first game against Uruguay and was able to keep his spot as a starter in the XV just a few days later, when the Warriors were playing against Argentina Jaguars. The Warriors took all of their games during their tour. He was a part of the Fiji squad to participate in the 2015 World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup. He was on the bench against Maori All Blacks in their one-off match. Then he took off his team against Tonga scoring an attempt in the 73rd minutes to ensure Fiji winning. He was named Loose-head prop against Samoa one week later. In May of 2016, he coached his Fiji Warriors side to a two-match win over their Uruguay national team in the mid-year 2016 internationals of the rugby union. In the same month, he also was accepted to Woodlands Rugby Club. In July 2016, he was included in the Southland Stags side for the 2016 Mitre 10 Cup. He made his debut against Otago in the first round.

He joined the team in August of 2014 and signed in August 2014 by Greater Sydney Rams to join the newly-created National Rugby Championship in Australia. His debut came as position of hooker in the RAMS in the month of October.
