Olivier Azam (born 21 October 1974 in Tarbes) is an ex-retired French player of the union rugby. A hooker that could also be a prop cover, Azam was a major part of his professional career playing with the English Premiership at Gloucester Rugby. Azam also won the honour of playing in 10 matches for France.
On the 15th of December, 2014, it was announced that Azam would be the director of Sport for Oyonnax under a three-year agreement.
On May 19, the 19th of May Gloucester Rugby announced that Azam had left Gloucester. A few days later, he made the decision to go back to France to take over Aubin Hueber as the forwards manager at Toulon. He quit Toulon and returned to 2013 be the new coach of forwards for French team Lyon to replace Tom Smith.

Azam began his Gloucester debut back in the month of August of 2000 against Saracens. In his first season at Gloucester Azam was a part of the 2002 Zurich Championship Final (the year prior to winning the play-offs was the winning of the English title) where Gloucester lost to Bristol Rugby, as well as the 2003 Powergen Cup Final in which Gloucester defeated Northampton Saints. Azam was back at Gloucester Rugby in the summer of 2004 following a year playing for French club Montferrand. He made more than 140 appearances in his club West Country club.
Azam has been named player of the year by Gloucester fans during the 2008/09 season.
