Nim Dorjee Tamang (born 30 October, 1995) was an Indian professional footballer, who plays as a central defender for NorthEast United in the Indian Super League.
On the 10th of July, 2015. Tamang could have been picked in the Indian Super League draft but was not selected, and remained with Shillong Lajong. Before the 2016-17 season Tamang was appointed Shillong Lajong captain.
On 23 July 2017, Tamang was selected in the 2017–18 ISL Players Draft in the 6th round by Pune City. He would end up missing the 2017–18 season due to injuries.
Tamang made his return to football on 3 October 2018 in Pune City’s opening match against Delhi Dynamos. He started at right-back as Pune City drew the match 1–1.
Tamang was selected in the first team of Shillong Lajong during the season 2014-15. Tamang made his debut for the professional team at the Federation Cup against Pune on 29 December 2014. He took on the match when Shillong Lajong were defeated 1-3. One month later on January 18, 2015. Tamang began his professional league debut with the I-League against Royal Wahingdoh. Tamang was the first player to play, but couldn’t stop Shillong Lajong from losing 1-2.

In Melli, Sikkim, Tamang began playing football at the Namchi Sports Hostel before joining the Air Force Academy from 2009 to 2010. After making appearances for the India under-16 team, Tamang joined Shillong Lajong’s youth team.
Tamang has represented India as an under-17 and levels. Tamang was also a part of India’s under-19 team during 2014. AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers.
