Niklas Svedberg (born on September 4, 1989) is a Swedish professional goalie for ice hockey currently on the contract of Djurgardens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was awarded the Swedish championship in 2012, playing with Brynas IF.

As a restricted free agent following his debut season playing as the Bruins backup during the 2014-15 season Svedberg decided to sign an initial 1-year KHL agreement for the Russian club Salavat Yulaev Ufa on 10 May 2015. After finishing ahead of all KHL goalies in games won in 2015-16, he signed to a two-year extension with Salavat.

On June 8, 2018, Svedberg as an impending free agent signed a two-year contract to return to Sweden with Timrå IK in the SHL. In the 2018–19 season, Svedberg registered just 10 wins in 35 games with Timrå IK, unable to keep the club from suffering relegation to the Allsvenskan.

In order to continue in the SHL, Svedberg left Timrå IK and agreed to join original hometown junior club, Djurgårdens IF for the final year of his contract on 7 June 2019.

Svedberg played the NHL debut on January 2nd, 2014, in a game at home with the Nashville Predators, playing all 60 minutes of game time during an overtime that ended in the score being 3-1 Bruins victory.

On May 29, 2012 on May 29, 2012, the Boston Bruins announced that they taken on Svedberg to the Swedish Elite League to an Entry Level contract. Svedberg was able to make his AHL debut on October 19 2012, against Manchester Monarchs. In the 2017–18 season within the Wild organization, Svedberg was assigned for the duration of the year to AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild. In 44 appearances he compiled 18 wins with 18 losses.
