From 2006 to 2015 she was the Minister of Institutional Transparency in Bolivia and Fight Against Corruption. This was during President Evo Morales’ first and second governments. Through more than 100 corruption cases, the Bolivian government was able to recover approximately 800 million bolivianos (US$115million) during her tenure.
Nardi Suxo left the post of transparency minister on 22 January 2015, being replaced by Lenny Valdivia.
She was dismissed as ambassador to these countries on 15 November 2019.
Nardi Suxo was elected President of Bolivia by Evo Morales. Morales appointed her Minister of the newly created Ministry of Institutional Transparency and Fight against Corruption on 23 January 2006. She served nine years in office, making her one of the longest-serving Ministers (alongside Luis Alberto Arce Catacora and David Choquehuanca).

Nardi Elizabeth Suxo iturry, a Bolivian lawyer/sociologist was born 23 February 1961. From June 2019 to November 2019, she was the Bolivian ambassador to Austria, Croatia and Hungary.
She started her education in 1967 and completed a baccalaureate at La Paz in 1978. She entered the Higher University of San Andres in 1979 and graduated with a law degree. Years later, she earned a degree in sociology and a diploma in human rights from Charles III University of Madrid.
On 24 March 2015, Nardi Suxo presented a plan to the Senate for her to become the country’s representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva. She formally presented her credentials as permanent representative on 13 May 2015. In 2018, she was nominated as a judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. However, this bid failed after being met with strong objections from citizen activist groups and opposition parties, alleging that she had avoided taking action in some corruption cases which involved officials high in the government.
