Donnie Scott Hart (born September 6 September, 1990) is an American professional baseball player who plays who plays for the Oakland Athletics organization. He has been a part of Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets.
Hart was named to the 2017 Baltimore Opening Day roster. On April 7 Hart scored his first major league win. The win was in a game against New York Yankees after Hart took out Starlin Castro with the 7th inning in. His his teammate Seth Smith hit a go-ahead homer in the final inning of the innings. Hart was assigned for Norfolk Tides Norfolk Tides and recalled to Baltimore numerous times during the season. Hart began the 2018 season with Norfolk. He spent most of the season in the minors, pitching in 20 games only for the Orioles. He was designated for assignment when the Orioles reclaimed Hanser Alberto on waivers on March 1, 2019.

Hart ended his first year in the major leagues having played in 22 contests throwing 18/3 innings, and only giving up one run (via the solo home hit). Hart pitched to an 0.49 ERA and 0.98 WHIP while striking out 12 batters and granting six walks. Hart was added to his way onto the Orioles Wild Card Game roster and pitched to one batter, resulting in an out fly to close the seventh innings. The Orioles were and lose the game in the 11th inning 5-5.

In his sophomore year Hart gave up the .138 batsman’s average for opposing batters in his junior year the team’s leader, he tallied a 2.13 ERA.
