Mohamed Awad, Arabic: mHmdwd; born 6/7/92 in Egypt), is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek.

Al-Masry’s request for a loan to Ismaily SC until the end was officially denied by the club on December 3. Awad refused to leave the club and the Brazilian coach refused to sell him. Awad didn’t participate in any of the official matches since the start of the season. Awad wanted a loan from Al- Masry so that he could participate in the official games. The team then agreed to loan Mohamed Awad to Al-Masry starting in Winter transfer period. This loan was for 600,000 pounds and ending at the end. Awad played in 22 matches, and he kept a clean slate in ten of the matches. Ismaily SC officials announced that the loan would be terminated at the conclusion of the football season. They also refused to renew the contract for Awad’s continued need during the next period. The three parties, Al-Masry, Ismaily SC and Awad, agreed that if they all agree to extend the loan in January, he would stay. However, the Ismaily SC officials announced that they had rejected the loan renewal.

In May 2018 he was named in Egypt’s preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

C.F. sent Ismaily SC a formal fax on Friday, 12 June 2015. Uniao signed the player in the summer transfer period. The club management accepted the departure. However, Ismaily SC decided to sell the goalkeeper for one million and a quarter euros. This was due to the lack of money supply. On June 23, 2016, the Portuguese club submitted a second bid for Awad. However, the Ismaily SC club rejected the offer.
