In fall 2009 Round became a touring member of Puscifer, Maynard James Keenan of Tool’s Arizona based project, working on their album Conditions of My Parole and began opening the live shows.

Pre-orders of the digital EP came with two extra tracks – acoustic versions of “Do You” and “For Everything a Reason”. A video and a remix are available for the first track on the EP, “Backseat”.

In 2003, she returned with The Disconnection. This album was recorded again at Magic Garden Studios by Gavin Monaghan. Anoushka Fisz, her wife from Dave Stewart, who has supported her since then, covered the album in the UK. The album was then released on Interscope in America in 2004 with a new, less disturbing cover photo. It was compared to Robert Plant, Jeff Buckley, and Bjork. Round promoted The Disconnection by touring the UK in late 2003 and another in January 2004. The tour was followed by a one-month-long tour in the USA, before Round returned to the UK for a second tour with Damien Dempsey & James Blunt.

Round was invited to support Ronnie Scott’s club, Birmingham, for three nights in 1996 after she played in a Wolverhampton basement acoustic band. This gave Round support slots with Miles Hunt and Mark Eitzel, Cousteau and Elbow, Mark Eitzel as well as Turin Brakes, Ed Harcourt, Ryan Adams, and Ryan Adams. After she had supported him in Birmingham, he invited her to join his London shows. They performed the encores of their co-written songs “Idiots Dance” (as well as “Come Pick Me Up”) at these shows. Round was joined by Marcus Galley on drums, Simon Jason Smith on double bass and Tom Livemore on guitar. Their first gig together was an exclusive support for Coldplay at Birmingham Songwriters Festival.

The band recorded their debut album The First Blood Mystery at Magic Garden Studios together with Gavin Monaghan, a friend and producer. The album was recorded, mixed and released in the UK by Animal Noise in 2001. Glenn Tilbrook toured the UK in support of Round.

That same year, she appeared on “Cruel Melody”, the title track of the debut album of Black Light Burns, a band fronted by Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland. Also in 2007, Round was chosen as Annie Lennox’s support act for her US tour, which was followed by dates in the UK later that year and in early 2008.
