Sinead Kelly, a Welsh representative of netball, was married to Breeze in May 2015.
Breeze also taught PE at Ivybridge Community College, Devon. In 2011, she was made Member of the Order of the British Empire for her services to weightlifting.

After almost 18 months of weightlifting, she met Ken Price, a new coach. In 2000, she suffered a back injury that meant she missed international competitions and training for more than a year.
Breeze quit the sport after winning a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and opened a gym near Aberdare. Breeze returned to the Commonwealth Games in 2014, motivated by the desire to help the athletes she was coaching qualify for the Games. Breeze took home a bronze medal at the 58kg competition. She also set a new Commonwealth Games snatch records and later announced her second retirement.
