Mulipola signed a contract that would last until the end 2012 season on 11 January 2012. Mulipola was the winner of the 2012 Anglo-Welsh Cup Final as Leicester beat Northampton. He was also used in the 73rd minute to replace Leicester in the 2012 Premiership Final, where he lost to Harlequins.
