In 2011 Kenchadze was paired together with Elizaveta Makarova. The two trained together in Sofia with the help of Hristo Turlakov, and Andrei Lutai. Makarova/Kenchadze participated in 4 European Championships and three World Championships. They were the first couple from Bulgaria to throw a triple leap and triple twist in the European as well as World Championships.
Kenchadze began competing in pairs skating during the 2006-07 season with Nina Ivanova. From 2009 to 2010, he swam alongside Alexandra Goncharuk, placing seventh at the 2009 NRW Trophy and second at the Bulgarian Championships. The following year He teamed up with Alexandra Malakhova. The coach was Pavel Kitashev, the pair took silver in the 2010 Torun Cup and placed 22nd at the 2011 World Championships in Moscow.

Leri Kenchadze (Georgian: leri Kenchaz’e Bulgarian: Leri Kenchadze , born 16 August , 1986) is a Bulgarian former pair skater who competed in the past. Alongside Elizaveta Makarova, he was an 2014 Torun Cup champion, the 2015 Bavarian Open bronze medalist, and is a multiple-time Bulgarian National champion.
Kenchadze was a member of Bulgaria during his entire career. He was a solo skater throughout his 2005-06 campaign.
Kenchadze retired from competitive skating after the 2014–15 season. He is a head coach at Skøjteklub København in Copenhagen, Denmark. He joined the club in August 2015.
