Lorenz/Polizoakis placed fourth in the 2014 Nebelhorn Trophy, a Challenger Series (CS) event. They finished fifth at the 2014 Ondrej Nepela Trophy (CS) and first in the 2014 Open d’Andorra, and fifth at the 2015 Warsaw Cup (CS). Then, in December of 2015, they were awarded the German national title ahead of Katharina Muller and Tim Dieck and were selected to represent Germany at the 2016 European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. When they competed at Europeans at the beginning of January the pair of Lorenz and Polyizoakis were thirteenth on the dance short, which allowed them to get into the free section which they placed 15th. This resulted in a final ranking of 14th in their first ISU Championship. Then, in March of this year, the pair were able to qualify for the final portion of the 2016 World Championships in Boston by finishing 19th on the short dancing. They finished 17th overall. The pair broke up in April of 2016, however, in June they announced they will keep skating.
