Katsuyuki Kiyomiya is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on July 17, 1967 in Ōsaka, Japan. He was born in the Osaka prefecture on the 25th of July 1967. He was an infraction for juveniles, he was advised to take up rugby to give his life a direction by an elementary school teacher. Since then, he’s been interested in and passionate about education. (He has also established his own organization, the WASEDA CLUB NPO in Tokyo to help encourage the involvement of young athletes in a variety of sports, and also the Oku-Inoue Fund for the children of Iraq.)
On February 12, 2006, the coach of Coach Kiyomiya’s Waseda defeated Toyota Verblitz, a team with stars such as Troy Flavell and Filo Tiatia at the 44th Japan Championships. It is the very first time that a university team defeated the Top League team, though Waseda also beat Toshiba as a corporate team, in the same year that the Mr. Kiyomiya was a student player.
In the opening game of the 2007-8 season Kiyomiya’s Suntory gained revenge, beating Toshiba 10-3 on October 26, 2007 under lights at Chichibunomiya. After the game coach Kiyomiya declared that his team would win all the remaining league games and the championship. They in fact lost two and drew one, but won the fifth Microsoft Cup and so became champions of the Top League for the first time in 2007-08.
In his first season as coach of Sungoliath his team was second in the league behind Toshiba Brave Lupus, after losing narrowly 10-12 to their Fuchu city rivals in a ‘Fuchu derby’. In the Microsoft Cup Final 2007, Suntory lost on the last play of the game after injury time had finished. The final score was 13-14 in favour of Toshiba.
From 2001 to 2006 from 2001-2006, he was a highly effective coach at Waseda University Rugby Football Club that led them to three championships for the university in just five years. This included two consecutive championships in 2005 and in 2006 He has since been hired by Suntory Sungoliath in the Top League as their full-time head coach.

Katsuyuki Kiyomiya (Qing Gong Xing , Kiyomiya Katsuyuki, born on July 17, 1967) is a well-known Japanese rugby union coach. He was previously from Waseda University RFC (2001-06) and, since 2006, (since the year 2006) in charge of Suntory Sungoliath.
