Paul Kaine Robertson (born 29 October 1980 in Auckland) is a professional rugby unionist from New Zealand who plays rugby union with Viadana and internationally for Italy.

Robertson was a member of the Viadana and was first a member of their junior team. He made his debut in the senior squad on September 22nd 2001 in Padua in the match against Petrarca.

He made his Six Nations debut as a replacement against Ireland in 2005, but it was in 2007 that he had his finest moment in an Italy shirt. Robertson scored one of Italy’s four tries against Scotland at Murrayfield to secure Italy’s first ever away Six Nations win he backed this up with an incredible solo try against the Welsh team the following week in Rome with the Azzurri also winning this game.

He was selected by then Italy boss Pierre Berbizier for Italy’s 2007 World Cup squad, playing in three matches as the Azzurri were knocked out at the group stages.

Robertson played a role in the victory of Viadana during the 2001/02 Italian Championship with 12 tries which made him the Italian season’s top scorer of tries He went on to win the two Italian Cups (in 2003 and 2007) and was a part of the team which made it to the final of the Championship in 2008-09, where they fell in the final to Benetton Treviso. He was also the top scoring try in the 2006/07 season (9 attempts) and the 2008-09 season (11 scores).
