Kabamba Floors is one of the most popular and richest Rugby Union Player who was born on November 15, 1980 in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape, South Africa. Lucas “Kabamba” Floors (born 15 November 1980 in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape) is a former South African rugby union footballer who played in excess 200 appearances in his career. He began and concluded his career with the SWD Eagles, playing 33 matches for the George-based club in 2003-2004 as well as another 17 appearances between 2003 and 2013. The majority of his time in Bloemfontein and represented his team the Free State Cheetahs in the domestic Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions as well as playing for the Cheetahs playing in Super Rugby. The position he plays in is usually in the flanks, however Floors can be found at eight and was also chosen to play for the wing. Floors only made one appearance in the team of his national side, called the Springboks in 2006. He also was a member of his national Rugby Sevens squad between 2003 and 2006. He was also the captain of the team in 2006.

Floors finished his 2006 season by winning being awarded the Players’ Player of the Year award. He also was awarded the Absa Currie Cup Player of the Year Award. He was named the Man of the Match during 2006. Currie Cup final which the Cheetahs took home against their rivals, the Blue Bulls.

In 2008 Floors was twice left out of the Cheetah’s squad for disciplinary reasons, the second time for missing a team flight back to Bloemfontein. During the same year Cheetah’s coach Naka Drotske selected Floors on the wing for the 13 September Currie Cup clash with the Sharks.

Floors’ positional versatility as a loose forward was on display in the 2009 Currie Cup season when he starred as eighthman in the match against Boland.

The same year, He was selected to that year’s South African sevens team, in which his performance led to him receiving an award of the South African Sevens Player of the Year Award in 2004. The 16 tries the player scored in his time playing sevens put him in the third spot of the most points achieved from South African sevens players to the present, and second in the rankings for the most attempts.
