Jamieson did not participate in any of the provincial tournaments at schools for Eastern Province, but in 2013 – still in the age group of Under-18 Jamieson was a part of the Eastern Province U19 squad that played in the Group B in the 2013 Provincial Championship. He played in four of their seven games during the regular season and scored one goal in their 42-20 win against the Griffons U19 side to help his team to finish in the third place on the log to earn a place in the semi-finals.
